Today I was looking into the different consumer tribes in the driffent stores and how much people actually purchase in the store. Before starting to analyses the different tribes I
was standing in the front of the LV shops in London, and analysed what kind of
clients walked in and what clients walk actually out with a LV Bag. I was
standing in front of each store for 15 minutes.
NBS:
How many
client walked in: 63 clients
How many
clients walked out with LV bag: 39 clients
Result: New
Bond Street is the home of Luxury Brand for that reason, who goes there know
what expect him, and the windows of Louis Vuitton are so attractive that a lot
of people stop by the shop and enter and as seeing in the results, who enters
at LV Flagship Store purchased to 80%, as the store is offering all key products
form £30 up to 50k.

Target: Locals, Yummy Mummies, Tourists (China, South Korea, India Russia)

How many
client walked in: 39 clients
How many
clients walked out with LV bag: 15 clients
Result: As
it is one of the top tourist attraction I can definitely say that the most of
the clients are tourists. Nationality
wise the most clients where form the Middle East or China and most of the
clients had huge Shopper Bags that means they invested for a lot of money,
either on bag or luggage Customer Target: Tourist (70% Middle East and China)
and Yummy Mummies
Selfridges:
How many
client walked in? 39 clients
How many
clients walked out with LV bag? 15 clients
Result: Very
interested with Selfridges was that, a lot of people get distracted as well by
other brands, a lot of people were looking the window but not entering, that is
for sure a negative thing about department store, you can lose potentially clients
